There has been research investigating the benefit of EGCG
from the tea in the treatment of HIV infection, where EGCG has
been shown to reduce plaques related to AIDS related
dementia in the laboratory, as well as block gp120, thereby
preventing HIV locking onto and docking with the cell. At low
concentrations the effects of green tea were partial, the
researchers found, but just drinking two or three cups of green
tea could reduce....
